Troy played four years of Division one college hockey for Lake Superior State University. After college Troy went on to play 6 more years of professional hockey and over 370 games. Troy then coached the Greenville Swamp Rabbits in the ECHL for three years. The Greenville Swamp Rabbits were affiliated with the New York Rangers and the Hartford Wolf Pack. Troy was able to attend the NHL Draft with the New York Rangers. He also was a coach for multiple AHL Training Camps with the Hartford Wolf Pack. Troy’s next coaching stop was with the 10U Carolina Rage for one season. Troy was an on ice development coach for their entire program, along with his 10U coaching duties. Troy was recently the Head Coach of the Charlotte Rush Premier and Elite team. Winning multiple championships during his time with the Rush. Since relocating to Charlotte five years ago, Troy has been very active giving private lessons to players from all different programs. Troy is helping develop our athletes both on and off the ice in multiple capacities. Troy is a head coach, development coach, skills coach, video coach and has attended ice sessions for every team in our organization.
